Ski for Sadie was created to remember the endless passion, determination and endurance shown by Sadie on the slopes. Sadie tragically lost her life at just 9 years old from an anaphylactic shock. The Sadie Bristow Foundation Charity was created in her memory with a focus on raising awareness of childhood allergies and increasing participation in sporting activities at schools.

What is Ski for Sadie?

A unique challenge

Back in 2020 we first launched our Ski for Sadie event and participants loved it. In January 2023 it’s back and we’re excited to be able to open this up to as many people as we can. Your challenge as a team (or individually) is to reach virtual checkpoints we’ve put all over the biggest ski area in the world. At some you’ll uncover clues and your ultimate aim is to reach all points and solve our puzzle. There will be plenty of other fun challenges along the way. What’s more we’ve got options for all standards of skiers. Everyone is welcome!

The Ultimate Ski Challenge is coming this Winter!

We launched Ski for Sadie back in 2020 and, with the pandemic behind us, we are excited to bring it back to the Alps this season! Feedback from our first event was amazing and we can’t wait to make the event bigger and better this year.

The quest app

We’ve teamed up with Quest to power the challenge!

Using the Quest App, your challenge will be to reach all checkpoints we’ve plotted, all over the ski area. The Quest will take you to all corners of the biggest ski area in the world. Some points are hiding clues, gather these and try and solve ‘Sadie’s puzzle’. We’ll also have daily challenges with some great prizes on offer.

Location

Val Thorens, 3 valleys

We’ll have in-resort hosts for the whole week, based in Val Thorens, which is where we suggest you are based for the challenge. You don’t need to be in resort all week, take your time or try complete in 2-3 days – it’s your call!

We’ll be having welcome drinks on the first night and be hosting apres ski every night in the same location to award our daily prizes. Venue details to follow.

Earlybird entry is £149 per team or as an individual

All money goes to the foundation

All of your entry fee goes to the foundation as a donation, meaning you are helping us raise allergy awareness and increase youth participation in sport.
